Ginger and Cardamom Tea

    Serves: 2 Ingredients:
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tsp black tea leaves
  • 1 inch grated ginger
  • 3-4 cardamoms, crushed
  • Sugar
  • Steps:
  • 1In a saucepan, mix 2 cups of water, 1/2 cup milk, grated ginger and crushed cardamom.
  • 2Bring it to a boil and add the tea leaves.
  • 3Add sugar to taste.
  • 4Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 5Strain the tea into tea cups and serve hot.

Vanilla Tea

    Serves: 2 Ingredients:
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract or 2-3 drops of vanilla essence
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp black tea leaves
  • Sugar
  • Steps:
  • 1In a saucepan, mix 2 cups of water, 1/2 cup milk, and ground cinnamon.
  • 2Bring it to a boil and add the tea leaves.
  • 3Add sugar to taste.
  • 4Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 5Add the vanilla extract/ vanilla essence.
  • 6Strain the hot vanilla tea into tea cups and enjoy.

Ginger Turmeric Tea

    Serves: 4 Ingredients:
  • 2 cups water
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp freshly chopped ginger
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 wedge of lemon
  • 2-3 basil leaves
  • 2 tsp black tea leaves
  • Steps:
  • 1In a saucepan, mix 2 cups of water, turmeric and ginger.
  • 2Bring it to a boil and add the tea leaves.
  • 3Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 4Strain the tea into tea cups.
  • 5Add the honey.
  • 6Garnish with lemon and basil leaves and enjoy.

Fruit Iced Tea

    Serves: 4 Ingredients:
  • Water
  • 300ml soda water
  • Ice
  • Fresh fruits - Strawberries, oranges, blueberries, peaches
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • Steps:
  • 1Boil 4 glasses of water and 2 tsp black tea leaves and sugar.
  • 2Refrigerate this brew.
  • 3Fill a glass with ice and half the fruits.
  • 4Then half pour in the chilled tea infusion that you had refrigerated earlier.
  • 5Pour in some cool and sparkling.
  • 6Top it off with the leftover fruits and enjoy your iced tea.

Lemon and Mint Iced Green Tea

    Serves: 6 Ingredients:
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Lemon wedges
  • Green tea bags
  • Ice
  • Honey
  • Steps:
  • 1Crush the fresh mint leaves gently with hands and put these into a pitcher.
  • 2Throw in the lemon wedges.
  • 3Put in the green tea bags and pour in hot water.
  • 4Refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours or until chilled.
  • 5Remove the tea bags and add crushed ice.
  • 6Add honey to sweeten and serve.

Kiwi Iced Tea

    Serves: 2 Ingredients:
  • 2 kiwis chopped
  • 2 tsp kiwi syrup
  • 1 glass brewed tea
  • Steps:
  • 1Fill a glass with crushed ice and chopped kiwis.
  • 2Pour in a tea spoon of the kiwi syrup.
  • 3Add half the brewed tea.
  • 4Refrigerate and serve chilled.
